6. Saving Your Preferences
Report Preferences let you store your preferred behavior so you don’t have to use Prompt Insertion every time. Preferences can be set at three levels:
Your personal level (overrides everything below)
Your facility level
Your facility group level
You can save up to 5 preference sets (Macro IDs 0–4). ID 0 is applied by default. To use a different set, type ^^readerpref1^^ (or 2, 3, 4) in your report.
Preferences can include:
Corrector on/off
Impression and recommendation formatting and style instructions
Custom corrector instructions (e.g., expand “hx” to “history”)
Custom breast recommendation lists (CSV format)
Customized Breast Imaging Warning section text
7. Good to Know
Report Assistant works from your dictated text only — it does not interpret images.
If you didn’t dictate it, it won’t appear in the generated output.
Other things to keep in mind:
Structured workflows (Lung, Thyroid, Breast) only activate for their specific exam codes.
Thyroid and Lung forms support a maximum of 4 nodules each.
Body-region-specific Impression variants (e.g., Knee, Head/Neck, CAP, BMD) are selected automatically from your exam metadata.
If an exam code doesn’t match any specific variant, the default Impression agent is used.
8. Troubleshooting
