New Capabilities at a Glance

1. Body-Region Impressions — Head/Brain/Neck (CT and MR)

Report Assistant now automatically generates a concise, anatomy-aligned Impression section for Head/Brain/Neck CT and MR exams. Applies when the exam body region is [Head/Brain] or [Head/Brain, Neck] and the modality is CT or MR. All other exams continue to use the default Impression agent.

2. Body-Region Impressions — Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis

Report Assistant now automatically generates a body-region-focused Impression section for Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis exams. Applies when the body region is Abdomen, Pelvis, Abdomen/Pelvis, or Chest/Abdomen/Pelvis. No modality restriction applies.

3. Modality Impression — Bone Mineral Density (BMD)

Report Assistant now generates BMD-specific Impression sections using the structure and terminology expected for BMD reporting. Applies automatically to all exams with the BMD modality.

4. Lung Reporting with Lung-RADS Scoring

For Lung screening exams (exam code 10181), Report Assistant automatically generates:

  • Impressions

  • Assessment and Recommendations

  • Reference section

Nodule details are captured through the Lung-RADS tech form and inserted into the report automatically. Lung-RADS score, risk level, and management recommendations are derived without manual input.

Limit: The Lung-RADS tech form supports up to four nodules. If any mandatory attributes are missing for a nodule, the Lung-RADS score for that exam will not be generated.

5. Report Preference 1.1 — New Personalization Options

Two new customization options are now available at the Reading Physician, Facility, or Facility Group level:

  • Custom abbreviations: define abbreviations that Report Corrector will automatically expand (e.g. hx → history)

  • Breast Imaging section customization: customize the text and title of the Information About Breast Imaging section

For previously available personalization options, refer to the Release 3.3 Release Notes.
