What’s New Since 2.11.0 

Version 2.12.01 implements an upgrade to our third-party rendering engine to allow for greatly improved loading and caching performance. Several bugs have also been addressed to improve product stability and function. 

 Upgrade to Fovia 8.0.1.3424 

Vision 2.12.01 now makes use of the Fovia 8.0.1.3424 rendering engine for DICOM loading, 2D rendering and 3D volume rendering (client + server). No functional change should be noticed by the user with this upgrade but improved image loading and viewer performance should be observed. 

Warning to users when duplicate Series Instance UIDs are detected 

We have added a warning to users when images are not displayed due to multiple series having the same Series Instance UID. This will alert users to potential cases of missing images so corrective action can be taken. 

 Fix for incorrect slice numbers on MPR panel 

A product defect was affecting the slice numbers being displayed on the DICOM Annotations when scrolling through a series on the MPR panel. This has been corrected and the appropriate slice numbers are now displayed. 

Fix for zoom factor variations while scrolling 

A product defect was causing abnormal changes of the zoom factor while scrolling through a series. This has been corrected and the zoom factor will remain unchanged while scrolling.
